Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant
Primarily, you will be responsible for the Purchase Ledger but there will also be a requirement to support the sales ledger along with other ad-hoc finance related tasks. We are looking for someone who is self motivated, and able to work as part of a team with excellent communication skills.
Location: Ellesmere Port
Job Hours: Part Time
Hours of work: 09.00am – 17.00pm – Wednesday to Friday
Annual Leave: 15 days per annum
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Duties
- Processing purchase invoices
- Distribution of invoices for authorisation
- Posting supplier invoices received by email and post onto accounts system
- Matching delivery to purchase orders and invoices
- Rectifying invoice queries – distribution of invoices for authorisation
- Confidence in raising queries – internally and with suppliers
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Running credit checks on new accounts
- Raise supplier payment runs ensuring these are paid correctly and to agreed terms
- Producing/email and posting sales invoices/statements
- Proactively communicate with customers ensuring they have received invoices and resolve any queries promptly
- Manage customer credit limits and review regularly
Experience
- Credit control familiarity
- Invoice processing: 1 year (prefered)

Mobile Hose Technician
Responsible for assembling and testing hydraulic hoses to ensure they are fit for purpose. To attend site to breakdowns, reparing/replacing/servicing any hydraulic failures reported by the customers and to perform a diagnostic as to why the failure has occurred, generating a client customer base along the way.
Vehicle and tools supplied when on call
Applicants will be required to work 24/7 on call on a rota basis.
Experience
- Ideally have past experience in making hoses or experienced plant fitter with good understanding of hydraulics
- Hold a full UK driving licence
