As a key member of our team, you’ll be responsible for assembling and testing hydraulic hoses to ensure they are fit for purpose. To attend site to breakdowns, repairing/replacing/servicing any hydraulic failures reported by our customers and to perform a diagnostic as to why the failure has occurred, generating a client customer base along the way in the North West area. You will be based from our depot here in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.

The core operating hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm with an out of hours 24/7 on call, on a rota basis. For every call out (out of hours) the successful candidate will receive an inconvenience charge plus the hours worked on site (based on premium rate). Vehicle and tools supplied when on call. Applicants will be required to work 24/7 on call, on a rota bases.
Experience
- Past experience in making hydraulic hoses is essential with a good understanding of hydraulics
- Hold a full, clean UK driving license
- Sales experience would be preferred

CNC Programmer / Conventional Machinist
Due to our ever expanding business M&R Hydraulics are currently looking to recruit a time served CNC Programmer / Conventional Machinist to programme and operate XYZ CNC lathe and milling machines for small batch work
Based in our workshop in Ellesmere Port, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating our XYZ CNC lathes and milling machines, so experience is essential. You may also be required from time to time to use these machines conventionally as we tend to deal with small batch work.
The majority of the machining will be on hydraulic cylinder parts which can vary from chrome rod, honed bore tubing, through to small rod eyes and basic machining processes.
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8am to 4,30pm – with the possibility of overtime
20 days holiday per year (to be accrued) plus bank holidays
